Future Releases - Hybrid Daylily Seedlings by Midnight Gardens Daylilies

New Daylily Seedlings Listed November, 2007

Seedling -CARIBBEAN MISTY MARTIN X ROSA BRYANT

Notes These cerise red blooms sport a big green throat, and are notable for multiple strong scapes on a single plant. Keeps putting up scapes until frost.

Seedling -LAVENDER BLUE BABY X SEEDLING

Notes: A very pretty ruffled mauve flower with a distinct lavender eye has incredible branching and bud count.

Seedling -MAGICAL MELODY X SPECIAL MOMENT

Notes: What a color combination! An electric green eye zone is offset by ivory petals dappled with lavender.

Seedling -MIDNIGHT SMOKE RINGS X LAVENDER BLUE BABY

Notes: This pastel beauty boasts a pattern of six distinct layers of color across the petal. A most unusual "zebra" pattern.

Seedling -MILLION TO ONE X LAVENDER BLUE BABY

Notes: Round and ruffled blooms in the palest cream-pink sport a large round eye in deeper pink offset by a green throat. Each petal is laced with the deeper pink color.

Seedling -PEWTER DUCHESS X BLAZE AWAY

Notes: A semi-double with an unusual washed eye zone with three distinct zones, this one is notable for the tree-like scapes with an abundance of blooms.

Seedling -RUTH OLIVER X SILOAM VAUGHN'S LUXURY

Notes: A coral color so vibrant that these recurved blooms might be mistaken for a more tropical hibiscus flower.

Seedling -SMOKY MT. AUTUMN X MAGICAL MELODY

Notes: This might be called the two-daylily since the blooms begin opening a day before they're open. Large blooms of heavy substance, tremendous ruffling, and hints of autumn tones offset by a green throat.

Seedling -WATERMELON MAN X SKINWALKER

Notes: The lovely deep red of WATERMELON MAN - only the plants are shorter and the blooms are larger and recurved. A conversation starter.

Seedling -SEEDLING X LAVENDER BLUE BABY

Notes: The cool blues, greens and ivory in this flower create a cool color palette. I used some of the famous "blues", including PRAIRIE BLUE EYES, in the creation of this plant. Recurved lavender petals are offset by stark ivory sepals.
